Sectores como el costado de la línea férrea, avenida Julio Montero en Villa El Señorial, avenida 12 de Febrero y el límite entre la avenida Sargento Aldea con Villa Las Acacias, son los puntos más críticos de San Felipe donde la falta de cultura de algunos vecinos provoca constantemente que se formen micro basurales.
Así lo dijo el jefe de talleres de la Municipalidad de San Felipe, Mauricio Castro: “En el costado de la línea férrea no podemos intervenir porque es como un tema privado, aunque suene irónico en la avenida Julio Montero al lado del cartel que dice no botar basura, en Las Acacias frente a la casona que es un punto complicado y 12 de Febrero al lado de la copa de agua, esos son los principales puntos conflictivos, los demás son como normales”, señaló.
Además indicó que para solicitar las bateas donde depositar cachureos, se debe hacer por intermedio de las juntas de vecinos, “con quienes lo estamos haciendo súper bien, las juntas de vecinos constantemente están pidiendo las bateas que deben ir donde no moleste el tránsito, donde no moleste al vecino, en eso somos bien explícitos con la gente, tenemos un calendario, a los vecinos no les gusta que digamos donde están las bateas porque son para su sector, porque llegan hasta camiones de Putaendo y Santa María que no trabajan con bateas, vienen a botar aquí a San Felipe”, dijo Mauricio Castro.
El jefe de talleres dijo que los vecinos, cuando tengan algo que botar, que no se puede llevar el camión recolector de basura, trabajen con las juntas de vecinos, que soliciten la batea porque la municipalidad tiene 48 horas para enviárselas.
Señalar que en algunos micro basurales se puede encontrar desde un sillón hasta colchones, cocinas, TV, refrigeradores Etc.
Actualmente la Municipalidad de San Felipe cuenta con diez bateas que debe cubrir desde San Rafael hasta el sector de Barrancas.

Lo mismo ocurre en camino que va hacia SANTA MARIA via LOS MOLLES,botan basura,escombros de construccion ,animales vivos y muertos,en lo personal salgo a hacer deporte los fines de semana y hay sectores irrespirables,que pasa con la gente tanta falta de cultura,ya que en SAN FELIPE,el camion de la basura pasa TRES veces por semana en cada sector pero eso es cuando son sucios en su casa que les interesa el entorno de los demas.
